Robbie Johnson researches demand-side management and demand response topics for electric and gas utilities. Before joining E Source as a lead research analyst, he spent over 10 years working in and around the sustainable buildings industry as an analyst, communicator, researcher, project manager, and utility energy efficiency program administrator.

Robbie holds a master’s degree from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University. It was during his time at Georgetown University that he first developed a passion for energy-efficient buildings, cleaner and more resilient power grids, and all things sustainability.
