Maher Lugo is a consultant, water audit validator, geographic information system (GIS) specialist, and project manager. He has more than 17 years of experience working with water utilities. Prior to joining E Source through its acquisition of Water Systems Optimization in 2021, Maher served as technical adviser with the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority where he developed strategies for reducing water losses with the intention of increasing revenue and reducing operating expenses. He has a BS in geology with a minor in GIS and remote sensing from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez.
