Reinhard Sturm is the senior vice president of Water Loss Consulting. Prior to E Source acquiring Water Systems Optimization (WSO) in 2021, he was the CEO and president of WSO. Reinhard has worked on water loss control projects throughout the world, and for the past 18 years he has been involved in some of the most impactful water loss reduction projects in the US. Reinhard is the coauthor of the McGraw Hill textbook Water Loss Control and served as principal investigator on five Water Resource Foundation research studies on water loss control. He received an MS in environmental engineering from the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Science in Vienna, Austria.
